• Calculated my BMR and basic activity level and figured out my caloric needs for weight loss (end goal: consume under 2200 cal per day. Goal: 1600-2000, varied depend on exercise regimen).
• Tracked my food.
From now on, at least for a couple months while I try to get back into shape, these entries will now include two numbers at the bottom: the first will be calories consumed, the second will be approximate calories actively burned (as in from exercise only, not general daily activity). So, let's start that now:

It feels like it's been longer than two weeks already! Some days I'm slacking, some days I'm on top of it... But all in all, I'm going strong so far... Must. Keep. It. Up. The new Maybenauts mixes sound amazing, and this year is going to be a BIG deal for us. I promise.

• Caught up (almost) on MTT and read some other really interesting articles, among them this one on Joshua Bell, which, while not directly discussing the music industry, shed tons of light on perception of products (namely unkown bands) within it. Reading this article was easily worth my whole day, and every musician or person under music-related employ would benefit greatly from reading it as well.
• Had a meeting with Emilie Jaeger regarding recording, writing, and new shows.

• Seriously fucked up my knee.
I'm calling it quits for today, i'm tired and sore and need to rest up for the back-to-the-grind workday tomorrow!
Update!
Since I can't stop doing anything ever (or sleep, apparently), today I also:
• Made some images for the new online Maybneauts shop.
• Made funny Photoshopped versions of a couple of Lenny Jimenez's photos of us from today's taping.
• Applied for a bizarro fantasy job with a CD Baby offshoot.
• Updated the Maybenauts Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter pages.
• Updated the Chicago Music page.
• Picked up the new mix for Girlfight.

Another pretty light day in terms of getting work done, but tomorrow will make up for it!

• Invited tons of people to the Chic-A-Go-Go taping.
• Updated Chicago Music page.
• Picked up/picked out/bought/washed/found costume elements for Vee's and my Chic-A-Go-Go outfits.
• Did laundry! Clean underwear! Yay!

New year's day... a little slow today, but some good stuff done:

• Updated The Maybenauts' Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter pages.
• Created a Facebook event for our Cafe Wha Who? show next Saturday.
• Plugged our Chic-A-Go-Go taping via Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.
• Caught up on the Music Think Tank blog.
• Outlined new updates for maybenauts.com.
• Thought of a great new web-based storefront idea for Maybenauts' merch and started laying it out, including pre-purchase options that will hopefully go live this week!
• Came up with new merch ideas.
